Can Paddleboarding Improve your Health and Fitness?

Life might be slowing down, but that doesn't mean you have to.

Many people in retirement find that they are leaving more than just their job. The change impacts their schedules and routines, social life, priorities and much more. Those changes can impact aspects of lives that appear insulated.

For many, it is easy to neglect healthy habits that they have had for years. Unless they make a conscious decision to replace those elements of their schedules and lives, they might just give in to the gravitational pull of the couch and daytime television. Even still, making healthy choices doesn’t need to be painful.

Stand Up Paddleboarding is our favorite alternative to spending hours each week in the gym. As a hobby, it offers a number of benefits for years to come, and no, it's not too late to get started. In our humble opinion, paddleboarding is the perfect fitness activity in retirement.
